Another Clean & Simple

I had time for another clean and simple...

zero nail polish this time. ;)

Thanks for stopping by~hope your week isn't chugging too quickly this early in the week.

I feel like I need to tap the brake pedal a little right about nowwwwww ;) hence the crafty time for me.

It gives me a bit of "ahhhh" time I really needed.

Something Special~Clean & Simple

I think I have a new addiction...

dipping paper with nail polish.

If you saw the NAIL BAR at our local pharmacy...you would totally get why this is a problem.

If you saw my nails...you would laugh. ;)

They don't feel the love...

just the cards, baby, just the cards. ;)

Here is another entry for

http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com/2015/04/cfc138.html

I've been up an hour or so and I can tell it's going to be one of "those" unconventional days...hahahaha...so I thought it was the perfect day to post this card. ;)

I have a feeling I'm going to need extra smiles, extra prayers and a really, really good sense of humor.

ahem.

Baby So Sweet

These papers and colors just sort of fell together for me yesterday...

I think it can be for a boy or a girl, don't you?

I mean, the flower is traditionally girly...but the colors can go masculine if I need a boy card in a pinch.

There are those "surprise" babies, so I think this is a safe card. ;)

Never Enough Dots for Rainbows

I will never have enough dot stamps~

NEVER.

I pulled out five sets to create this scene~and I still could have used more!!!

I found this extremely therapeutic...so expect more dotty creations in the near future.

You've been properly warned people.

;)

Have a blessed day~

Happiness

Today I'm playing with nail polish, smiley faces and black and white stripes...it's like I'm a teen again.

;)

Mr. Smiley is floating on a vellum scalloped layer that has been edged with nail polish...

look, you can touch-up a clothes pin to match!

Lovin' vellum, but don't like the way it curls up in humid weather???

This is one way to weigh the edges down.

I've got lots and lots of different dimensional fun going on here for

HB2U Ombre

Whenever I create a masculine card ...I mentally pat myself on the back.

Why oh why, don't I make more of them???

I have enough men in my family that I need to send cards to, and I really need to get a move on their cards before their birthdays sneak up on me.

I used the technique over at

hosted by Laurie.

I bought some makeup wedges today that I plan to keep near my inks~I love that idea she shared in the video!

Ok, survived until Wednesday...hahahaha, how about you, friends????

Trendy Nail Polish & Vellum

I frequent a local pharmacy ~ A LOT.

Trust me..if a scrapbook store was closer, I would LOVE to share my shopping time there.

However, crafting is never far from my thoughts, so there are ways to buy cardmaking supplies,

yes, even at the local "rx".

These beauties were clearanced~

HELLO BEAUTIFULS!!!...

they helped me add a 'lil glossy edge and trendy color to my cut panel pieces and die-cut strip.

The hardest part was waiting for my "nails" to dry~that's probably why I don't work with liquid mediums more often~

I'm instant-gratification when I start on a card.

A Straight Shot

I love angled panels.

LOVE. THEM.

Taking pics of them?

Not so much.

I had a difficult time getting a straight shot of this card.

I'm not even sure if I got one, hee hee.

But, I love that I got the most out of my favorite prints in this paper pack.

I angled everything to cover up the cutouts...I think it almost looks origami-like. ;)

The Lord Blesses

I had some quiet time to stamp today and I created a "pretty" card unlike my style..

~smile~

I resisted splattering, but the angling made me happy. ;)

I know Godly ladies I can hand this too...I've been blessed with so many in my life!

Every Moment

When I was younger, I swung from big moment to big moment...barely appreciating the mundane days.

I think most kids do.

Now that I'm 45 and I've seen friends, family come and go...literally move on from this life...

man, I just appreciate every. single. mundane. moment. I. have. with. my. loved. ones.

Thank you God for today.

Thank you, thank you Lord Jesus.
