~Your Part~

Yay, I crafted again this month...

which is a MIRACLE since March has been super busy!

Create a card with bright colors, flowers, sunshine or anything else that makes you think of Spring!

I used this lovely paper from Susiebee Studios.

~It didn't need much since that flower steals the show~

Hope you are carving out some much needed crafty time too, my friends!

Last Card for MIM #154

hosted by Erin Lincoln

I can't believe I had enough time/motivation to create three cards for one challenge...but I envisioned doing it all week and stole a few hours to play this evening.

Thanks to Erin for the inspiration!

In this card I generation stamped to give the illusion of depth.

I listed all the stamps/inks here because I knew if I did it for each of the three cards of this challenge, I wouldn't get my posts done...

Papertrey Ink Stamps:
Hello Sunshine,Rosie Posie,Meadow Greens,City Scene (speckles for first card of this challenge),Movers and Shakers Sentiments (for first card of this challenge)

Inks: Memento (Pear,Rich Cocoa,Pistachio),Papertrey Ink (Hibiscus Burst,Raspberry Fizz,True Black),Tim Holtz Spun Sugar

Love Comforteth

This is my second card for this challenge...I used clear embossing here to let the "Sunshine" sentiment appear through the sun ray.

I tried to remember the "gallon, pint" color suggestion that Erin talks about in her video...but I still need work in that department.

I will try to list all the stamp sets I used in the post for this challenge~I'm pretty sure they made their way into all three cards.

I'm just thrilled to steal time to CREATE, PHOTOGRAPH, POST!

PS...It's not the Korean soap opera keeping me busy...we finished the disks~YAYYY!

EVERY SINGLE DAY

I love just stamping away...

hosted by Erin Lincoln

This technique is fun....just stamp and add texture by clear embossing (which I did on the sentiment).

I also generation stamped.

I loved Erin's use of a misc stamp to fill in (I brought out my speckles from PTI's City Scene).

I might post two more cards if nothing interrupts my "me" time here...

HUGS

My husband gives me the best hugs...neither bone crushing or lackadaisical

(yah, I googled that...I was never in a spelling bee)...

I literally forbid him to hug me if I'm avoiding tears ...I know I can't hold it together under that comforting embrace.

Forgive the mush ball words coming out of my fingers...the girlies and I have found ourselves knee deep in a VERY CLEAN South Korean Soap Opera

(with subtitles, of course!).

Good grief, I can't wait until the disks are over so I can move on with my life~HA!

This is EXACTLY why I don't watch soap operas~my OCDness knows no bounds....ugh.

Anyway, mom sent the set (it's big in Hawaii) and I've shelved it for 5 years.

Spring break seemed like the time to dive in.

Getting to my card so I can get back to my disks (hee!)....

I LOVE ME some gray/grey...however you'd like to spell it...it's been the new black for a few years now.

http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com/2014/02/cfc129.html

I've used two shades of gray....one with the leaves and the other with the ink (Memento Gray Flannel).

The soap opera is called Winter Sonata..in case you're wondering, by the way.

Don't say I didn't warn you if you can't get your daily chores done...

OH, and mom says there are more seasons of drama she can send me....

NOOOOOOO!!!!!
