I've had this viewmaster design sitting on my desk for over a month.

It fits these teeny tiny BoBunny stamps~I love all the fun images in the Remind Me set!

OH, how to choose ???

Just like the days fill up quickly with all the "small things"...so did these squares!

I didn't get to include them all~

Here Comes the BOOM!

I'm from the boombox era~

big hair, big earrings, big radio, big shoulders....

BIG BIG BIG!

This is for my HIP HOP girlie who is pretty mellow...but turn on the music and

sHe GoEs

BOOM!

I love to see that side of her GO~

I used the pink and black bold blocks of color at

The

*Warning:Silhouette Cameo lingo coming up....don't worry about it if you don't have a Cameo*

I used the free boombox that came with my Cameo and I filled it with color~
same with the speech bubble (which is actually a camera flash image).

I selected to only cut the outline (after offsetting the outline) and utilized the registration marks to make everything "print and cut".

Three Peacocks and Sequins

My oldest girlie gave me this beautiful peacock stamp which I stamped three times.

Since I still have those sequins out...I added them to the tails~

I used a whole bunch here for the

I used the die cut from this card for the

I created a different landscape for the bicycle, by using the leftover piece from Papertrey Ink's Beautiful Beads Die.
Just like the sentiment, it's truly cloudy here, in fact, it's been snowing all day!

One day we will have color in our landscape....LOL, ONE DAY!!!

But for now...I'll just scatter colorful sequins everywhere I go....

GET YOUR FINGERS INKY

I have inky fingers from

hosted by Heather.

That's ok, I had fun creating this card!

I pulled out my Tim Holtz Pine Needles,Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint and sponged away.

I sprinkled a bit of water on the inked panel for

I love the splotchy effect it gives!

The mod tree was created from the trunk of Teach & Inspire and three filled in circles from Hello Sunshine.

The crease up top is literally that...a crease I meant to cut off, but after inking up, I felt it lent character to the panel, you know?

Thanks for stopping by~your visits encourage me!

I focus on creating a "card" rather than a "canvas" when dealing with sympathy cards.

I pray for wisdom while creating them~because it's the most vulnerable time for the recipient.

The beautiful inspiration from Moxie Fab's

inspired me to make a card which I hope won't be needed.

You know how that goes~

A DARE and My Card

Yes, you are at Marlenaisfaithfullycrafting.

This IS my card.

I gave in to a dare~

the Verve March Diva Dare was too fun to pass up...
CASEing Laurie and Maureen.

Laurie with her fun layering and elements and Maureen with her touches of bling and lovely tabs and such...I tried my best to stretch beyond my Marlena-ness.

I added a weird black knot in the lower left hand corner~just to say "it's me folks"~

although
I highly doubt this would be mistaken for either of their incredible creations.

I Choose Happy

When my girlies were whittle....my mom always had an arsenal of bubbles handy when we visited.

You can't blow bubbles and stay mad or serious.

You just can't.

Not a single stamp was inked for this creation.

The

searching for "speech bubbles" in the Silhouette Cameo library.

It
pulled up the sweet silhouette of the girl blowing bubbles.
Hmmmm, I thought, why not?
I found a "I choose happy" sticker "bubble". ;)

Once, I "laid aside rules", while their daddy was deployed...and let them...

wait for it...

BLOW BUBBLES IN THE HOUSE.

I know, right?

CRAZY!

I just felt FUN that day.

It WAS fun.

Granted, there were splotches of soapy magic on the furniture...but I tell you what...

we needed happy that day.

I chose happy.

SPRING BIRTHDAY

We have a sweet woman in our church who is celebrating her 90th BIRTHDAY

...CAN YOU IMAGINE????

I call that a trooper! ;)

I created her card with the stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs~Happy Birthday.

ODBD's challenge this month is

See those flowers? I recently bought some Prima paper from Eclectic Paperie and those were generously tucked into my package.

What a blessing!

I hope you are having a great day so far (it might be the first of many, many, many like this woman)~

Bring on Spring (the butterfly speaks spring to me!)

Emphasize the Negative Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
I played within the negative field~I believe what's going on INSIDE is more important, many times, than the outside.

I've lived similar situations and many times the joy I had in one just doesn't translate the second/third time around.

When I pray for joy...it's heart stuff God works on.

Our landscape in my corner of the world is filled with snow today...but that's ok~
'cause there's a big sun in my heart. ;)

I was excited to see the rainbow ladies in the Silhouette Cameo Store...

Mixed Media-ish

I love the freestyle look of mixed media and journaling...but I'm not ready to bring out the paints and get messy.

I can still get the look by grunging with a background like the mesh from Market Street stamps.

I laid down misc paper scraps and stamped over them.

I did the same technique here, but with border stamps.

You still get a "template" look, but without the template and paints.

I criss-crossed with pink and purple backgrounds for the color challenge at

Pick an Adjective or Three

I am learning to appreciate well-designed sentiments...especially since I'm not crazy about my own handwriting.

There won't be a stamp set in this lifetime that mimics my penmanship.

OH, well, that's what stamps are for, right?

I was so excited to bring this Technique Tuesday sentiment set home the other day.

There are a TON OF HAPPY, encouraging adjectives to choose from.

I obviously couldn't pick just one. ;)
